You might know the memorial day named “Earth Day”. This day is a day memorized as proposed by Senator G. Nelson elected to the House of Representative by the State of Wisconsin, USA for thinking and taking an action for preservation of the earth and natural environment on April 22, 1970.
Various events have been held for environment protection in the world on April 22 of every year and the legislation of the laws concerning environment protection or establishment of environment protection agencies has been promoted throughout the world since then.
As a result of giving too much importance to an economic growth, and have chased materialistic civilization, health of the earth has been spoiled. People ought to understand that we should think more seriously about a health of the earth as a member of the creature on the earth otherwise it cannot be recovered.
If we are of conscious that the earth is a large life-form supported each other by various creatures including us, the human beings, water, air and other resources, we would know that the health of the earth concern with the health of everything. The destiny of a life-form called the Earth is now entrusted to us, the human beings.
The duty of all of us, the human beings, currently alive at present is to tackle the environment conservation so as not to leave the earth which would ruin for a future descendant.
